Can handicapped students participate in a California College Bound Event?
Please speak with a customer service representative to disclose your students handicap before trip at minimum four weeks before departure. California College Bound will make all reasonable accommodations along with the visiting colleges to ensure a pleasant experience for all students.
Where can I download medical release forms behavior contract forms?
These forms must be signed digitally prior to joining a program. If there are major medical concerns concerning your student please let a California College Bound staff member know 30 days before departure so reasonable accommodations can be made.
How much spending money does my child need?
All of student’s expenses are covered on each trip. We ask that parents limit money to $50 per day per student. We prefer students use the time on trip to focus on education and seeking a good fit for their college education.
I am on a low income can I get financial assistance?
California College Bound works directly with schools to provide education discounts for need based students. Discounts for programs are issued directly to schools for a limited number of need based students. If interested, parents can reach out directly to the school coordinator.
Can Parents Join a Program
Certain programs are designated +1 programs. These are programs that allow high school students to bring along one parent or guardian with them. They must share a room together if the program is longer than 1 day.
When will I receive my program and itinerary?
Detailed program itineraries are issued two weeks before a trip begins.
Due you issue refunds for a trip?
Yes. 60 days before a trip you are entitled to a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Within 60 days of the trip there are no refunds available. If there is a documented death or documented hospitalization that prevents you from going on the trip, you are able to receive trip credit that can be applied within 180 days of the prior trip embarkment date.
My child speaks poor English are translators available?
All coordinators speak English. If your group has 20 or more persons that do not speak English as their first language we can make arrangements for your group. You must notify us 60 days prior to your group embarkment date.
